Nineteen of Daniil Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been earned on hard surfaces
A resurgent Medvedev claimed his initial trophy for 882 days with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the competition final.
The Russian, a ex- number one, has endured a difficult period, achieving just a single victory at the big events and experiencing a meltdown at the US Open.
His varied form on the professional circuit - and issues with his serving in especial - led to him falling of the top ten and eventually parting ways with long-time mentor Cervara.
Currently working with his coach and Goetzke, he has steadily improved in the past month - peaking in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over challenger Corentin Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's initial championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard court from March of that year.
Success also means Medvedev has secured 21 championships at twenty-one various events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a event with my both daughters together, so to get a title is particularly special," stated tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my second daughter her name, because the initial championship I got when my older daughter my daughter was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his previous six finals, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
His retrieving approach and frequent outbursts on the playing surface had caused some to doubt if his skill to play at the elite level was finished.
However the player has made changes in the past month, attempting to advance forward and play aggressively, reinforced by an improved serving game.
He came back from a break down in the initial set against the challenging Frenchman, winning four of the last five exchanges to take the lead.
The competitors swapped service breaks in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his maiden tour victory, seized the initiative to create a decider.
He defended four early-game opportunities in a competitive deciding set before the champion won the break to that score to close out the victory.
Appropriately, Medvedev clinched victory with a point at the front of the court, with Moutet failing to control a return after a lengthy match.
